The students in Mr. Albert’s third grade have been using a program to help improve their effort in class. This program is called Class Dojo, and it is a program that awards students when they are on task, helping others, or generally doing the right thing. They earn points and are working towards earning belts for their progress. Eleven students have earned 100 pts since the beginning of the year and have earned their Red Belt.
The program allows the students to pick and modify their own monster avatar and keep track of their progress at home. The program also sends home weekly reports on how the students are doing and what type of points they have earned. The program can be downloaded onto a mobile device and can be used in the hall, at assemblies, even on field trips.
